Which semi-finished products are currently available in costing24?

In costing24, you can find a list of semi-finshed products and their properties for the manufacturing of parts. The semi-finished products are sorted by cross-section shape and cross-sectional dimensions:

How can I select round materials to manufacture a part?
costing24 attempts to assign a semi-finished product to the part based on the part's features when analyzing a model. If information on the material group or material can be found in the model, the preferred semi-finished product is one of this material group or material. If no information is saved in the model, costing24 selects a semi-finished product made of steel as the material. Subsequently, the part is checked for one or more available matches based on its dimensions. Semi-finished products with dimensions matching those of the part or are similar to them are sorted in ascending order. Semi-finished products with the same dimensions are sorted in ascending order based on price.
Example
This example shows a shaft with an outer diameter of 28 and a length of 134 millimeters. The model does not contain any information on the material. The following list of semi-finished products is given as options by costing24:
costing24 selects RD 28 Hp EN10083-C45 1.0503 (0,48 €), from round stock with an outer diameter of 28 millimeters which consists of steel.
costing24 selects a semi-finished product consisting of steel as the material, as there is no information stored on the material in the model. costing24 selects a round part with an outer diameter of 28 millimeters, as the shaft has an outer diameter of 28 millimeters. In the list of suggested semi-finished products, the semi-finished products are displayed in ascending order with an increasing allowance. costing24 selects the cheapest semi-finished product available for the material steel. In the list of suggested semi-finished products, the semi-finished products are sorted by price in ascending order.
costing24 selects semi-finished products by the following pattern:

costing24 sorts semi-finished products in the following order in the list of suggested semi-finished products:

Functions in the semi-finished products section
- You can select and deselect the available semi-finished materials in the Active column by clicking on the checkbox. If a semi-finished product is deselected, it will not be taken into consideration in the calculation for parts in costing24.
- You can open the settings for a semi-finished product and edit them by clicking on the identifier in the Identifier column of the semi-finished product.
- You can import your own list of semi-finished products as XLSX or CSV file and use in the calculation of parts in costing24, if you click on Import semi-finished products.
- You can export the list of semi-finished products in costing24 as an XLSX or CSV file edit it in Excel, if you click on Export semi-finished products.
